Zao noodle bar is good

Zao noodle bar is located in U-Village. Although I'm not a huge fan of U-Village, I have to say this is a good restaurant. I have tried the Veggie Spring Rolls with tofu, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, leaf lettuce, rice noodles & mint wrapped in rice paper. They were good and tasted very fresh. I've also had the chicken Pho soup and their ginger-garlic-chili chicken and prawns. Both were excelent. As opposed to some restaurants where they overload the dish with too many noodles, the ginger-garlic-chili dish was loaded with plenty of chicken, prawns and great vegies. The prawns were a tad over cooked, but still good. The noodles with it were excelent.

Yeah! I've been to Zao a few times. I rocks.
It's probably my favorite lunch spot in U Village.
Nice thing is, it feels like such a restful, zen-like lunch, where time slows down and you can really catch your breath.
and the food is some of the better, more creative interpretations of the thai/asian style.
      good call!
