Though the Jade Pagoda does have its charm and history (my parents used to hang out there when they were young and living on the hill) the Wok and Grill is the place to go for good eats.
The family style dinners are tasty and HUGE. I recently went there with two friends and we were served enough food that we ALL had enough leftovers for two more meals!
The dinner included: bbq pork, potstickers, egg rolls, soup, rice, and 3 entrees. We could have easily fed 6 people with the food that arrived for the 3 of us.
We had beef w/snow peas, orange beef and a scallop, prawn and veggie dish. I'm not much of a beef person, but it was tasty. The veggies are always cooked to perfection, still a bit crisp. Given the choice I will always opt for Thai food as it has much less sauce and much more spice...BUT this place is consistent, has good service, and delivery..so it's a good option when dining with non-Thai food eaters ;)

Re: Broadway Wok and Grill
Tue, August 23, 2005 - 12:04 PMWhen I lived on Cap Hill, we ordered from them so much the delivery drivers knew our names. Their "special fried rice" is the best around, and they are one of the few places I've found that serves Sizzling Rice Soup...I hate most other Chinese soups, but Sizzling Rice Soup...yummy. Best to get that when you're actually at the restaurant, though...it's not quite as good when you get it delivered.
Broadway Walk and Grill is one of the things I miss now that I live out in the boonies...the closest Chinese restaurant doesn't deliver, and sucks to boot.
