I didn't have a clue that sprouts could ever be dangerous. Sounds like they are easily contaminated per this Canadian report (and they had previously criticized Americans for being alarmists).
What a drag! Mung sprouts, which I Love with my Pho, are an occasional carrier Salmonella.

Had a lovely bowl in front of me and couldn't touch it. Completely wasted. Very sad. I need a new pho night to redeem the bad.. hell there should just be a weekly pho night thru winter.. in my opinion.. Cream puffs make everything better. -
