Ok, can I just say one more time how much I luuurrrve the Than Brothers? And can I just say how happy I am that they FINALLY have veggie pho in the U-District? Just had a big ol' steaming bowl of soup with lots o' chili sauce...the best I say!

Wed, September 28, 2005 - 5:30 PMShaun & I have done EXTENSIVE testing on the Ave and can conclusively state that #1 Vietnamese, across the street, has superior broth. Than Bros are in a strong, and not contested 2nd position, but the No. 1 spot has been lost.
I can't speak to the vegetarian aspect, but our suspicions are that people are swayed by the free creampuff. -

Diagonally across from Thans to the North and a couple of doors down from the Thai place & another Vietnamese restaurant..
