Its called Salima. Located at 6727 MLK Way. Just South of Graham on the West side of MLK.
We ordered WAY too much food for the 4 adults & 2 small kids, but it did give me a chance to sample a bunch of things. I'm sure that an appetizer and 2 dishes would be plenty for 2 people, but my friends, who go there often, ordered a few extras.
My favorite was the Beef in Coconut Gravy and Chili, which was only $6.95. The sauce was terrific.
We also had something called Fried Yellow Noodle w/Prawn that was super too. It was only $6.75! Again, with a great unique sauce.
Singapore Fried Noodle w/Prawn was good, but a little spicey for some. I liked it. It is also $6.75.
The chicken sate was alright, but I have had better peanut sauce, although this was tastier than the typical sweet Thai variety. Spring rolls were good too, but another favorite was the Roti bread, which came with a curry gravy. Everything came with its own special sauce, and they were all good.
We didn't try the Ramadan special platters because they had some deserts & items that my friends thought were not the best of the house.
If you're needing a spot for a quick inexpensive dinner there was a fried rice dish that was only $5.95. I'll definitely go back and my son Shaun was really impressed with the food too. They even gave us a complimentary desert!
