A semi-fancy joint where the Green Cat used to be on Cap Hill i think. On Olive.
Anyway, drinks were fab. mussels as an app were extra fab.
i had the game hen with cranberry and stuffing which was like all the goodness of thankgiving reduced on to one plate. she had some swanky ravioli in a cream sauce which she raved about.
we split desert if i remember correctly, some sort of cake-like thing a la mode. i ate more of the mode than the cake, but it was de-lish.
it's a skosh spendy - like $75 - $100 for the two all in.
atmosphere was minimal in a great way, low warm lighting all around. very cozy.
and the service was perfect.
scrump-dillyishous.

Re: Dinette
Fri, November 4, 2005 - 1:43 PMYeah.. it sounded lovely when I saw the menu a couple of weeks ago, but yeah.. a skosh on the spendy side. Gotta say, I miss breakfast staples like the Green Cat and it's starting to be almost too hard to afford a nice dinner around the hill.. but ok ok .. I'll stop w/ the glass 1/2 empty.. it' sounds great! :)
